Unit 10

For someone that is writing a scientific paper i would tell them to make sure that they do their research. Research is essential to getting a well written paper. Also to make sure that they are getting all there refernces correct. This will help to show that they did not come up with the ideas or studies and helps with legal concepts of a paper. Giving credit to the one who created it is essential and the right thing to do. I think that i need to work on my APA formatting. I have it correct for the most part. I only have problems with the references. I give all the correct information i just have problems with were a comma or a period goes when i am trying to cite my work. I think that this term has really showed me that i am a lot better writer than i thought i was. I never give myself the credit that i need. Having other students who do not know me evaluate my paper really helped i think. Not knowing the other students on a personal level allows them to critise my paper solely on the paper and not on any personal events that could occur.

Unit 9

This week has been really rough on me. I do not really feel that my paper is at its best. I have been working on it so much it seems to be running together. I am really hoping that i can pull it together so that i can get a good grade on it. I feel really tired of writing at this point. This term has been really hard. A lot harder than i thought it would be. I feel that i might be able to be a better writer but it takes a lot longer then a few weeks. I think that trying to write a great paper in a few weeks is really hard but im not giving up so that is always a good thing.

Unit 8

I do not really like this whole blog thing for the classes. I have posted every week yet i have never got any responses back from anyone. That part of the blog tends to bother me. otherwise it just seems that i am blogging to waste time or something. I do not plan on blogging after i get out of this class unless it is required by another. I do not want to step on any toes but i guess this is just not my thing.

Unit 7

Since we have started to do the reviews i am a little nervous to be honest. I am not the best writer so i am hoping that i will get so good feedback on writing my paper to help submit the best paper that i can. Since i don't think of myself as a good writer it is hard sometimes to try and review others work because i do not feel that i am good enough to be criticising someone elses work. I have found out a lot of interesting information while doing my research for this paper. i have found a lot of information that was misconsstuided in the news and media.
